It’s been an exciting few weeks here at Diamond headquarters. We’ve been doing a lot of growing lately and wanted to let you in on a little secret- we’re expanding! Our New Lambton office is currently under renovation to include a second story, taking our office space to over 1000m2.

The primary motivation for the expansion is to accommodate our growing team and continue to improve the services we offer to our existing customers.

When Maroba’s CEO Viv Allanson saw the CommBox 75” HD Touchscreen display at Diamond recently, she didn’t just see a great tool for her business…she saw a device that could be used to engage both the minds and bodies of her residents.

Maroba are renowned as a provider of quality aged care services, and the organisation is always on the look out for clever ways to improve the daily lives of the residents.

We had a fantastic day at the Diamond Surf n Turf Obstacle Race last month! Congratulations to Newcastle Surf Life Saving for putting on such a fantastic community event and our Diamond team who did a great job, coming in 9th out of 27 teams!

Diamond is proud to welcome Phil to the Diamond team, as our IT Client Services Manager. Phil has over 15 years of experience in the delivery of IT infrastructure and is passionate about providing excellent customer service. James Weakley, who had previously performed the role is very much still part of Diamond in the role of Managed Services Architect.

Diamond is proud to welcome Geoff Moten back to the Diamond team, as our Administration & Quality Manager.

Geoff brings over 30 years’ experience in systems analysis, software design/development and project management, and is enthusiastic about returning to Diamond to strengthen the delivery of best practice outcomes for our company & our clients.

Diamond recently hosted a Microsoft Customer Immersion Experience offering participants the opportunity to test-drive Microsoft productivity solutions such as SharePoint, Lync, Exchange, Office 2013 and Windows 8. The event, which booked out within two days, also showed participants how they could utilise these product to increase productivity and encourage collaboration within their organisation.

The Diamond Surf n Turf Obstacle Race is on this Sunday the 18th May. If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time, with entries closing this Friday at 5 pm.
